But if you have an eye for the future; I say, we can’t just settle for the wayward antics of present-day social media, being for the sole purpose of personal gain. We can’t possibly expect a positive new generation to somehow evolve out of this. I believe we have to BALANCE our hi-tech obsessions with an earthly connection such as we can only find in Mother nature . . .
I live rural by choice. Ive lived in cities for the majority of my life and while they can be exciting and externally stimulating, a country life in the surroundings of Nature somehow touches me deeply and is more a reflection of who I am at my human core.
Right now, our Global society appears to be in an uncomfortable place. Caught between a war of ‘change at any cost’ versus the immovable normality of status quo. In an all-consuming media confrontation, there is a mental-health factor arising from both sides of the divide, and its becoming difficult to ignore.
It makes me think of how being behind the steering wheel, can give a driver an egocentric level of invincibility … just because of the protection a motor vehicle provides. There is a distinct parallel between this and the attitude many take behind the app-screen of their social devices.
“Being ‘true to oneself’ means acting and thinking in a way that aligns with our own values and beliefs, rather than conforming to external expectations or pressures. I think we all feel this very deeply, but many choose to ignore its calling when faced with the overwhelming odds of a competitive society. In an age where our cooperation has such great potential for our future, the structures that place one human against another, need to be dismantled”.
It is not an easy time, but If you want to find the real person within; you can! Connect with nature, meditate, and share the natural beauty and uniqueness of who you are and why you are here. Give this to the world, and create a new generation of peace within.
So here, down-under in New Zealand on the great submerged continent of Zealandia, we are blessed in the season of Autumn. A time where the colours are intensified and varied, and where the light dims toward the Solstice of Winter . . .
Our harmony is to connect with Mother Nature as she naturalises to what is above and below. At this time, she asks us to rest and rejuvenate, to meditate and prepare. We are at peace in her arms, we are loved in her harmony and in her beautiful energy, we are in perfect equipoise with global consciousness. We celebrate our connection with each other, and with all things in all places.
Nature is beautiful — aren’t we …
In two week’s time will be the Winter Solstice. I intend to continue this conversation as we move toward June 21 and an online celebration of You, the Earth and the Sun in musical tribute. Its a special time for all of us as we resonate in the energies of change and transformation.
I look forward to sharing this with you
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and may peace be within you.
