Crossing the divide between victim and creator consciousness can be fraught with challenge, but if you keep facing forward, the flow will move you steadily toward your highest good.
The biggest release you will be asked to make, will be from the circumstances that led you to believe you are a victim. Everything, from what you were taught to the manifestation of misfortune, pain and anguish, can be left in your past forever.
Forgiveness is forgiveness. Like love, there is no debate. In ascending from victim, there are two stages . . . forgiveness of others, and forgiveness of self, usually in that order. The victim identifies their perpetrator long before realising that they themselves might have been involved in the act of creating their own misfortune.
Forgiveness can be a challenge to the rational mind. Holding a grudge, complaining, wanting retribution, and an over-dependency on justice and truth, is what keeps us in victim mentality. These conclusions are held in the logical brain and can be difficult to move, especially as they were integrated into our reality at a very young age. Our reaction to negative situations is programmed through our parenting, family interactions, and through schooling and education. Releasing ourselves from the program is where we achieve creator consciousness.
The first step of forgiveness, is to forgive the world around us. That is, forgiving all those we believe have wronged, mistreated, offended or have caused our misfortune. As we do this, we begin to move from victim to creator, from here we become aware of how we “set-up” our circumstances to confirm our victim perspective. At that point we will see the wisdom in forgiving ourselves. As we get closer to creator consciousness, the two levels of forgiveness merge into one.
Forgiveness is a feeling emotion. To forgive is not to say I forgive, but to “feel” my forgiveness. We will often think we are above, or superior to our perpetrators, so a little bit of humility will go a long way to being in a forgiving space. Even though we may rationalise the anger, the hatred and the resentment we may feel for another, holding onto these feelings will only end up harming ourselves. Unresolved, these feelings will eventually turn to disease. The feelings of forgiveness are like “letting go” of, or “releasing” our negative energy.
Forgiveness is the transformation of energy. The feeling of forgiveness will feel like an energy-change within us. It can be a profound change like moving from sadness to happiness all of a sudden. In your meditations, see if you can identify the feeling-change within your emotional body, when resentment becomes forgiveness.
From victim to creator consciousness is a journey ... It can take time, so allow it to be as it is. The thing is, at an essential level, most of us are here to work through this very process of energy change. Within a very short period of time of forgiving, we will start to feel happier and more engaged in life. This is because at a deeper level, we are on a journey that resonates with our life purpose.
There are two essential tools we can use in the forgiving process. They are, to begin a regular practice of meditation, and to begin a journal of your progress. You will find keeping a journal of your thoughts and insights invaluable to your transition . . . and meditation will bring you the insights and peace.
Nothing untoward can happen, because why would I do that to myself? My life is the gift of Source Energy, and I cherish that gift more than anything. My gift is the world around me including everyone else, all the animals and creatures, Mother Earth in Nature, the light and the heat of the Sun and the cosmos full of other worlds. I am so busy loving my life, that there is no room left for negativity or misfortune.
My pathway is intuitive, my expectation is fulfilment and love. I am the creator of my humble life, and still there is more to learn, more to grow, and more to forgive.
Blessed be your path toward creator consciousness, and remember, you never really get there, so make sure you enjoy every moment along the way . . .
