Peace and the beginning of everything

The fortune in gratitude

Since August 1984, I have been on a journey of peace. In that same year I made a decision to divert my musical attentions toward a music that healed in a direct way.

I believe all music is healing in some way to some people, but there is a music that works with almost every person who has ears to hear and a heart to feel.

There are some things about a music written for meditation, that has a greater potential to heal than any other music. Meditating to music requires a particular feeling that is based on several factors. In simple terms, the tempo of the music is probably the most obvious. The tonal quality of the sound is also very important, and the continuous length of the music is what contributes to a completed meditation.

After learning to meditate (I used the “TM” method to get started), I began to get a sense of what music might do to resonate with the feeling of a meditation practice. Typically, during a meditation I allowed my intuition to “tune-in,” and to express some ideas of tempo, sound and continuity into the space around me. This exercise took a little while as I had come from a music that was almost at the other end of the dynamic spectrum. That said, the adjustment transition was greatly shortened through the therapeutic properties that meditating naturally offered. By freeing my creative mind from its learned attachments, and being ok in the first place, to compose the music for myself, I was able to release my first meditation album on cassette tape, 9 months later.

Butterfly and Meditation for Transformation were born.

My journey of peace continued; music was my companion. The healing quality of the music was contained in the vibration of peace. Being at peace in the music, could instil a feeling of contentment in the meditator. This was a natural progression, as long as the peace and the music continued, whatever part of the mind and/or body that was out of contentment, came back into contentment through the musical vibrations of peace.

The fortune in Gratitude

It is not the material things in life that bring us contentment and fulfilment. It is the amount of peace we realise we have within ourselves. Being at peace brings us face to face with how fortunate we really are to be here, and how grateful we are for this fortune. It is of the “fortune in gratitude” that peace reminds us.

One of the most difficult challenges in human life today, is the amount of rational training we accumulate to survive in the world. The downside of living by a rational mindset, is that we form logical beliefs that in the end, limit our ability to find contentment in life. We self-judge and we tend to avoid anything without scientific validation. We search for truth out there in the world when all the time, we have the truth of peace within us.

When meditation brings us contentment, we feel the feelings, but we don’t always believe in what is happening. Even though meditation brings us peace, the spring-loaded nature of our conditioned responses will attempt to dismiss our natural reaction as airy-fairy; not to be taken seriously - even if it is everything we've always wanted …

Over the continuing years of my life in music, meditation and peace, I have realised a Universal Peace. In 2015 I published a book titled, ”In the Key of Peace” that documents my journey in music and my subsequent interactions and realisations with meditation and peace. Since then I have continued to embellish my findings within my music and in my literature. Where I am at now is that I have found  …

Peace at the beginning of Everything

The quintessential nature of Peace is where everything exists in a state of absolute stillness — even time. As we know ourselves, we come from peace and to peace we return — over and over again. You see, Peace is the first world and the last. Peace is everywhere always.

When we feel peace … we feel the vibration of our contentment. Even through the challenges and confrontations in the world today, when we meditate, we can still feel contentment for the life we are living. Now, imagine the feeling of this multiplied exponentially, and you will understand those who recall their other-world, after-life experiences of heavenly bliss.

In Peace we are connected

Peace is an essential aspect of our creative mind. When we look for peace, it is there before us, before everything.

All roads in life lead to peace … and peace begins all roads in life. Peace is before and between everything.

Inner Peace

As peace precedes creation, so Inner peace precedes ‘Peace in the world’. The way for peace in the world is through our inner peace.

Your peace … my peace … our peace.

During our human life, we can revisit peace in its original and continuing vibration. Peace will become familiar within us, along with our natural contentment and fulfilment.

Meditation

Practicing meditation is our primary connection with peace. Peace is a space of beauty where everything exists before us. Meditation brings inner peace and contentment — everything within the blissful harmony of god-source energy, of which we are part.

Our human life is the creation of peace. When we connect with peace during our time here, we connect with our deepest energetic source …

We never left peace to be here — peace came along with us. Peace is our anchor through all of life’s distractions. Peace is the creator and initiator of our contentment. In Peace we remember …

Remembering Peace …
