Hello dear friends and meditators, I trust your week has been open to your desires—and that those desires are fulfilling your life path.
Thank you to everyone who shared their sense of energy for this year. Each day, I am becoming more amazed at how many people are awakening to their life’s mission, and how the diversity of these missions is beginning to shape a world rooted in love, kindness, and compassion—a new way of living.
In last week’s newsletter, I spoke about the process of personal transformation, and how the course of our growth can at times feel extremely difficult and stressful. Yet, despite everything, just as we’re about to step away from the process, something shifts. Positive thoughts and new possibilities arise, quietly encouraging us to stay with it.
“Even the bad times are good” was the song title I used last week to embody what many of us are beginning to experience on our human journey of expansion and the natural healing of our mind and body. This week, I’ve chosen another song title that continues this story…
Welcome to Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Written by Paul Simon and performed by Simon & Garfunkel, this song is not only an inspiration born of a benevolent universe—it reminds us that this same benevolent universe lives within us, as the realisation of our own wholeness and potential.
So what is it, in the midst of chaos, that gives us hope when all hope seems lost? These sudden insights and inspirations can initially feel alien or external to us—but they are not. They are our own inner responses, arising from our deepest connection with a universe of goodness and compassion—one we sometimes mistake for a cold, indifferent outer space.
At times, we create pressure in our lives simply to expose the depth of our inner strength and resolve. But when we already know this deep energy, and consciously nurture our connection with it, we no longer need struggle or stress to remind us of its presence.
Our transformations then become something quite different. Not moments of fanfare or dramatic flourish, but quiet releases—followed by gentle realisations of our expanding self, harmonising naturally with everything around us.
This is our bridge over troubled water. It is always there. Yet if we don’t trust it or actively engage with it, it can slip beneath our awareness. Much of our pain and suffering comes from losing our sense of connection to this bridge. And so, we create chaos—to rediscover it.
Our understanding of, and connection to, a benevolent universe can take any form you choose—whatever allows your life to feel like the most beautiful experience possible. Through meditation, cycles of growth and realisation that uplift our human self toward the divinity of our true soul presence, an unshakable trust emerges in a reality founded on goodness, love, and positivity.
The transformation of humanity begins within each of us, through reconnecting with our own benevolence—just as inner peace becomes the foundation for world peace. At first, this may not always feel real, but it becomes real as personal happiness grows and expands through our collective experience.
In worldly terms, this becomes humanity’s bridge over troubled water… and we will lay us down.
Thank you for reading, and for sharing.
May your peace be within.
Much love, Jeffree
