The video series Im looking at putting together that will cover each of the 24 meditation tracks has been a little bit slow in getting off the ground. This has been due to technology problems, namely of the “battery” kind. Actually, It’s been a “battery” few months, with firstly needing to replace my car batteries. No, I haven’t got two cars, I just have one car with two batteries! And more recently, my computer battery has also failed and needed to be replaced.
Of course with everything having meaning in the universe, I had to ask myself the question — why batteries? . . . Well, batteries represent our power. Flat batteries can either mean the charging circuits are defective, or the battery itself has come to the end of its life. Metaphysically speaking, because our car and computer are extremely important devices in our lives, their condition can often reflect back to us things about ourselves we might need to pay attention to. In this case the charging circuits would represent my immune system and its ability to keep me charged up, particularly in the colder months. I noted this, and checked in with my body just in case. The results were all good, but its always a good idea to check in with self. Make sure that you are not over-doing the work ethic, and that you are taking a good balance of time out for yourself.
On close examination, I found the batteries in the car and the computer were reflecting changes that were somewhat ‘indelible’ in nature. I realised they had come to the end of their battery life — all at once! At first I didn’t think there was a message there for me, but there was, and it played out like this . . .
In the past couple of months I have lost a few special people in my life, from family to friends and this was quite saddening. My sister Jean, my brother-in-law Martin, and then recently my good friend Gary Cook passed away. These were the indelible changes that one has to live with, but life is never quite the same again. I attended Gary’s funeral on the weekend and it was very special — what an amazing human being he was. Gary was loved in spiritual circles by thousands of New Zealanders and his work in connecting people with Nature was exemplary.
The last few months have been a very different time for me at a personal level. With the car batteries and computer battery all going within a short period of time, I believe the universe was making me aware of upcoming changes — of both passings and renewals . . .
So with the computer now repaired, I am back into the video series and you can expect the first video quite soon. To remind you, this first video is a version of the text newsletter I released on 17 July - “Music for Meditation and Healing”
The video version will be a little less formal and will cover “A Music meditation,” “The benefits of Meditating” and “the Art of creating Meditation Music”. After this, I will begin to release a video track each week from my 24 meditation track catalogue — not necessarily in chronological order. The videos will feature the mood and inspiration of the track as well as its healing application and a short performance from its construction.
Finally this week I have released a new quote through #Jeffree et al. This one titled “With Careful Discipline” looks at the progression between victim and creator consciousness. With the Newsletters on Substack keeping me quite busy, the Jeffree quotes have been quiet for a while. I would however like to pick up the momentum with the quotes and add then into the program of Substack newsletters and videos. As a visual-learner myself, the quotes give me the opportunity to present motivation and philosophical ideas in both text and art form at once. Check the #jeffreequotes link below ...
“With Careful Discipline” looks at the process of elevating one-self into creator consciousness. I will say, that we are in-fact always in creator consciousness. Playing the “victim” in life is our own creation and many people become stuck in that mentality. The real difference is that as a victim, we are un-conscious of the choices we have as creator — choices that are available to us to have things as we want them to be. In victim consciousness, we are for all intents and purposes, “asleep” to our real potential and possibilities.
Becoming conscious that we have these choices, is an awakening within us and a perception change that opens to our true potential and purpose for being here. Once realised, things are never quite the same again and from the moment of our awakening, we become a conscious creator in life. We can see clearly a pathway to creating our life exactly as we want it. We can also see how as a victim, we created our life exactly as we didn’t want it!
Being in Creator consciousness is a journey not a destination. The transition from victim is clear but we will be challenged to stay on our conscious-creator pathway. This is where Careful Discipline is required. Be gentle with yourself. Notice how you “feel” when you are in creator consciousness and allow the insights that come out of your new feelings, to move you forward into your true happiness and fulfilment. Take your time, enjoy your new path and keep your batteries topped up!
As an aside, the great awaking of humanity is also a journey not a destination. Each time a person wakes, the human world becomes a little more happier and fulfilled …
Thank you for reading and for sharing . . .
May your peace be within
